Today I delivered another D+D masterclass (Diversity + Discrimination) and I truly felt that we unlearned and learned new behaviours and perceptions.
I’m sure many of you will agree that diversity training has become a bit of a tick box exercise. Until you attend one of my masterclasses, you’ll always have this perception.
If you’re truly ready to unlearn and learn, challenge perceptions, and have perhaps some uncomfortable conversations then you need to enroll into our masterclass. I didn’t call this Diversity and Inclusion because I feel like if we’re not learning about the flipside then we’re not learning much about diversity at all. Our master class is called Diversity and Discrimination. And believe me, we get into deep rooted issues and I often have delegates opening up about experiences and the room is often filled with emotion.
If you’re not tapping into that side of our emotional intelligence, then you’re probably not learning much at all. if your company has a budget for investing in learning and training, then you need to ensure that there is some return on investment.
