I feel like me again...

I feel like me again...

I feel like me again! that was my answer, when asked how hypnotherapy had helped me. My severe anxiety had gone and I was able to live my life without overthinking every thought or decision.

I had been on a non-stop path of progression (or so I thought) but looking back now, not saying no, living life so full and at such a fast speed was slowly and without me admitting it to myself burning me out. I couldn't see it when I was in it but now I do there are some fundamentals I plan into my week to ensure I never step too far away from what I value.

Recognising those thoughts that aren't helping me, we all have those inner thoughts that keep us living in fear. Challenge them!

Get moving - Not everyone likes to run, simply putting one foot in front of the other and move my body... this might be a walk, a dance around the kitchen, a leisurely swim ‍♀️ but i aim to move by body every day.

Connection - Working remotely can be isolating but I get to focus on work and ensure I make time during the day to catch up with family and friends. If I can combine the walk with the catch up.

Saying No! it's not selfish or rude. It's a commitment to prioritising myself first. I have good boundaries and I'm committed to maintaining them, that doesn't mean I'm not flexible but I come first, my mind, body and soul. - This is the change which mad the biggest difference to my health and anxiety in a weird way helped me to make this change.

️ Bed - I used to struggle to sleep, too much to do and not enough time in the day and that's often when those thoughts crept in. I'm an early riser so an early night keeps my 8-9 hours sleep consistent, just how I like it, I now how no problem drifting off to sleep.
