AI is obedient to your data.

It learns from biased data - it doesn't exclude it.

You might be sitting on years worth of gender inequity that only going to be magnified as you implement AI into the business.

That’s why it’s not enough to focus on how AI will impact women.

You also need to ask how it will reshape men’s roles.

Sure, AI will automate processes, produce results quicker and maybe even save you money.

But nobody's considered how this is going to start to increase risk of gender discrimination in companies and you might just increase your own risk too.

🔹 Women risk being excluded;
↳ because they dominate roles likely to be automated
↳ because their contribution is less visible in historical data
↳ because leadership training and succession data often skews male

🔹 Men risk being misclassified;
↳ because they dominate roles where “output” is easy to track
↳ because AI won’t flag when they’re neurodivergent or introverted
↳ because efficiency models assume all men are high-performing by default

This is about more than job cuts.

It’s about perception, systems, and structural blind spots.

AI doesn’t think. It mirrors.

If your business has never measured gender equity - AI won’t either.

And if your workforce model has never been audited - AI will replicate what you never saw.
