Why you don't need to be able to solve every problem to be a great leader
You don't need to be a master problem solver to be a brilliant leader.
(You just need THIS - and I think it will surprise you…)
To be the best leader:
You don’t have to be the “best” problem solver.
You don't need to think of yourself as good at finding all the solutions.
You don't even need to LIKE solving complex problems.
(Though it’s totally FINE if you do!)
Effective leadership isn't about having all the answers yourself. It's about knowing how to get the right resources to find the best solution as quickly as possible.
➡️ So the only thing you need to be good at is knowing that connecting with the right support is more valuable than struggling alone.
You need to be good at thinking:
↳ I don't have to figure this out by myself. Smart leaders know when to seek expertise.
↳ My time is too valuable to spend reinventing wheels.
↳ Leadership isn't about knowing everything—it's about leveraging the right resources at the right time.
That is it.
Effective leadership = knowing how to access the right support, exactly when you need it. 🔑
When you do that…
↳ You stop wasting time trying to become an expert in every area your role touches.
↳ You stop worrying about diminishing your credibility by acknowledging when someone else's expertise would get you there faster.
↳ You start answering the most important question in leadership: "What's the most efficient path to the outcome we need?"
You start demonstrating true leadership by recognizing when getting support will create exponentially better results.
Those are the decisions that actually showcase your strategic thinking.
If you don't believe this, that's where you have to start.
🌟 Believe that seeking support demonstrates strength, not weakness.
🌟 Seek additional evidence to support it.
🌟 Reinforce it daily.
Until seeking the right resources becomes your default approach to challenges.
